Our guided tours offer a perfect blend of nature, culture, movement and mindful travel, fully supported by our experienced local guides.

What to expect
These tours are made for travelers who want to truly experience Greece – far from crowds, close to nature, and with everything thoughtfully organized
Small Groups,
Big Experiences
With a maximum of 12 participants, our tours stay personal and flexible. Groups up to 6 are led by one guide who also drives. Larger groups are supported by two guides – one cycling with you, one in the support van. This way, everyone rides at their own rhythm, with help always close by.
Plenty of Breaks, Plenty to Discover
Expect frequent stops for coffee, swims, and local highlights. You’ll visit Byzantine castles, coastal villages, a bird sanctuary by Voidokilia Beach, and ride through olive and citrus groves – all on quiet roads with sea views and no crowds.
Easy to Moderate Activity
Most of the route is flat or gently rolling, with an average of 40 km per day. Some hills add a touch of challenge, but support is always nearby. Trekking bikes are included, e-bikes are available – and all roads are paved and peaceful.
Messinia Coastal Tour
Itinerary
Day 1
Level: easy to moderate | Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
Fixed start dates / Minimum 2 participants
Arrival in Kalamata/Messinia
Arrival in Kalamata-Messini, where we meet and greet you and fit you to your bikes. Messini lies at the heart of the Messinian Bay, with many local tavernas to try. The beach is only 3 km away – perfect for a first swim in the crystal-clear sea.
Day 2
Kalamata - Petalidi -
Agios Andreas 49 km
After breakfast, we cycle our way along the only coastal road passing through many small villages in the heart of agriculture country. Many fields of produce are visable which the farmers take advantage of by small roadside shacks selling their daily handpicked vegetables/olives or local wine they've produced themselves. Our 1st coffee break is the bustling fishing village of Petalidi. It hosts a weekly farmers market on Fridays as well as a daily fish market. The locals are visible in the many street lined cafeterias discussing Greek life with sipping their frappes. Continuing along with the ever blue coast line we make our way to Ag. Andreas. A welcome glass of fresh squeezed OJ while you stare at the harbor and the rest of the day to do as you please. Sunbathing or swim, hike through the foothills, or visit their 800 year old church. The evening comes alive with all the locals walking the promenade or eating out in the many tavernas.
Day 3
Agios Andreas - Koroni -
Finikounda - Methoni 42 km
We are biking from Agios Andreas along the coastal road to Koroni.
Koroni is a beautiful settlement with plenty of cafés and tavernas lining the fishing harbour. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the medieval castle, built by the Franks and Venetians between the 13th and 17th centuries. We continue our bike tour through the brilliant – but somewhat steep – hills on the way to Finikounda, a quaint fishing village with a long sandy beach. It’s an ideal paradise for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. This charming village also offers some wonderful shopping. The final 10 km take us to Methoni.
Day 4
Methoni - Pylos -
Voidikilia - Marathopoli 42 km
After breakfast, you can visit the Byzantine castle located around the corner. Here you can explore the perimeter and inside of this amazing Venetian castle. Continuing on we cycle towards Pylos. Pylos is the third most important historical town and has a medieval castle like Koroni and Methoni. We have a fantastic view over the Navarino Bay, where Russian, French and English battle ships destroyed the Ottoman and Egyptian ships and set Greece free from occupation. A coffee break in the town square overlooking the harbor and we're off to Voidikilia. Some say it is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece. An Unesco bird sanctuary is situated right beside the lagoon for those wishing to explore. We finish off the last 10 km of cycling along the coastline surrounded by olive trees and melon fields to Marathopoli.
Day 5
Marathopoli - Filiatra -
Armeni - Kyparissia- 34 km
You'll feel like a king and queen this morning after a quiet and more than comfortable sleep. The day starts with a full delicious breakfast at this family run hotel and then cycling through the many olive groves this area boosts. Carrying on to Filitra for a break under the "Eiffel Tower" a smaller version that stands out on the main street. It was built by a local man as a tribute to his love for Paris. We head off the main road and cycle the more scenic route towards Kyparrisia, through small villages and churches. Armeni is a perfect place where a quick coffee or lunch break in this little village is welcomed. From there its only another 5 km to Kyparissia ending this day with a sea front hotel watching the sun set into the sea.
Day 6
Kyparissia - Meligalas -
Valira - Kalamata 70 km
The last day of cycling turns us away from blue seas and historic ports to roll comfortably and effortlessly along old railway tracks, through varied agricultural landscapes and small Greek inland villages. However the thousand year old olive culture dominates, but is combined with citrus fruits and other useful shrubs. Passing through Meligalas, Valira and Messini, we reach our final hotel destination in Kalamata.
