General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

Booking
Bookings can be made in writing, by phone or by email. By submitting a booking, you make a binding offer to enter into a travel contract with us. The contract becomes effective once Cycle Green Tours confirms your booking. This confirmation does not require any specific form and is sent together with the invoice.
If you are registering additional participants, you are responsible for all contractual obligations of those persons. Any changes or additional agreements must be made in writing.

Payment
A deposit of 10% of the tour price is due upon confirmation of the contract. You will receive a statutory security certificate protecting your payment against insolvency of the tour operator. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one month before the tour begins. For short-notice bookings, payment is due at tour start.
You will receive detailed tour documentation 3–4 weeks before departure. If fewer than four participants register, Cycle Green Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour with a full refund of all payments made.

Included Services
The services provided are those listed on our website for the respective tour and confirmed in the contract. Minor changes to the itinerary or individual services may be necessary after booking, provided they are reasonable and do not alter the overall character of the tour. We do not accept liability for errors in online descriptions or third-party promotional material.

Cancellation and Rebooking
You may cancel the tour at any time prior to departure. Written notice is required. The following cancellation fees apply:

up to 28 days before departure: 20% of the tour price (minimum €50)

27–8 days before departure: 60%

7–1 day(s) before departure: 90%

on the day of arrival or no-show: 100%
You may transfer your booking to another person at any time. The rebooking fee is €25. Other changes are only possible by cancelling and rebooking. All cancellation and change fees are payable immediately.

Cancellation by the Tour Operator
If we must cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. No further claims can be made.

Liability
We are liable under the duty of care of a prudent tour operator for:

proper organisation of your tour

selection and supervision of service providers

accuracy of our service descriptions

and the proper provision of contracted services
Liability for non-physical damages is limited to three times the tour price unless caused by gross negligence or intent. We are not liable for services provided by third-party suppliers we merely act as intermediaries for. Damage or loss of luggage must be reported immediately. Minor damage (scratches, broken handles/wheels) is excluded from liability.

Insurance
We strongly recommend travel cancellation insurance. Please also ensure you are adequately insured for medical, accident, personal liability, and luggage loss.

Travel Documents
For travel to Greece, a valid ID or passport is required (EU citizens).

Client Responsibility and Fitness
Cycling holidays require a higher level of personal responsibility than typical tours. It is your responsibility to assess your own physical fitness. Participants must be capable of riding a touring bike with panniers in road traffic and on various surfaces (gravel, trails, etc.) under all weather conditions. Participants are responsible for complying with traffic laws, ensuring bike safety, and securing the bikes when unattended.

Duty of Care
During the tour, you are responsible for any damage or loss to the bicycles or equipment provided, particularly if you separate from the group, disregard instructions, or act negligently or intentionally.

Warranty and Complaints
If a service is not provided as agreed, you may request a remedy. We may provide equivalent or higher-quality services. If the remedy is unreasonable, it may be refused.
To claim a price reduction, you must report any deficiencies immediately to the tour guide and submit a written complaint after the tour.

Limitation Period
All claims must be made in writing within one month after the tour ends. Legal claims expire six months after the tour's contractual end unless negotiations are ongoing. Jurisdiction is Oranienburg, Germany.

Data Protection
All personal data you provide will be used solely for contract fulfilment and is protected according to the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Severability Clause
If any part of these terms is or becomes legally invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
